Stratasys (SSYS) launches Digital Anatomy Creator software

Stratasys SSYS recently announced the launch of a new software module – Digital Anatomy Creator – designed for its digital anatomy 3D printers to improve personalized healthcare through anatomical modeling solutions.

The software allows healthcare providers to easily manipulate material formations and customize the eternal structures of their impressions for patient-specific anatomical models, which are a replication of the patient’s pathological and biological anatomy.

With Digital Anatomy Creator, users will be able to create, explore and share ultra-realistic designs of patient-specific anatomies across communities. They will be able to access additional options and commands to calibrate print media, meeting the requirements of personalized and user-specific anatomical models.

Stratasys has collaborated with Synopsis” SNPS Simpleware ScanIP Medical and MaterializeMTLS Mimics inPrint to certify that its Digital Anatomy and J5 MediJet printers will be included in FDA 510 (k) approved medical modeling workflows. This will give customers access to digital workflows for diagnostic anatomical modeling and improve point-of-care 3D printing.

Recently, Stratasys has extended its materials ecosystem through P3 3D printing systems, Selective Absorption Fusion (“SAF”) and stereolithography. Recently, in November, it launched an Open Material license to advance its manufacturing strategy with a new open level of third-party materials for FDM 3D printers. This has enabled its manufacturing customers to meet new applications with high demands, while having dual material sources.

In October, Stratasys introduced GrabCAD Additive Manufacturing Platform, an open, enterprise-ready software platform that enables manufacturers to manage additive manufacturing operations at the production scale.

In September, the company introduced an Open Material license for the P3-based Origin One, as well as two new materials from Loctite by Henkel. Earlier in June, it extended its software ecosystem with the addition of Teton Simulation, which uses the GrabCAD DFAM software development kit to help customers improve the reliability of additive manufacturing releases.
