Samsung Galaxy S22 is starting to get a huge software update

Last week, Samsung released the April 2022 security update for the Exynos variants of the Galaxy S22 series. Now, the company has released the updated Snapdragon variants of the smartphones in various African and Asian countries.

Latest software update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with firmware version S90xEXXU1AVCJ. The update is rolling out to Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines, in the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.

While the official changelog only mentions the April 2022 security patch, bug fixes, stability improvements, and performance enhancements, the update has a massive download size of around 1500 downloads. 37 MB. Samsung may have fixed many bugs with this update and improved the performance of its latest high-end smartphones.

If you are a Galaxy S22 series smartphone user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can now download the latest OTA software update by going to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
