RICHARDSON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Software creator Richardson is working to make the experience of trying to find the COVID-19 vaccine easier.
“My dad tried to get the vaccine and he hasn’t succeeded yet,” Carri Craver said. “When I saw this problem, I thought I could fix it. “

With over twenty years of experience in creating software, Carri Craver has built and launched a free crowdsourcing website called Covid19VaccineTx.com Last weekend.
Using state data, the website lists locations that have received vaccine shipments and allows people to give updates about them.
For example, are they supplied with current? Are they currently accepting appointments? And if so, who is eligible? How can you register?

“I knew this was an audience over 65 who are really trying to get the vaccine right now,” she said. “I wanted to make sure the fonts were big and the forms simple.”
In a few days, more than 1,700 people used the site.
“I’m so happy to help so many people,” Craver said.
Starting Thursday, January 7, a new feature will be launched on the website.
People will be able to sign up to be updated when vaccines become available near them.
